November 4th, 2026, Presidence Lecture Hall, Cours Léopold, Nancy, University of Lorraine

The Lorraine ChemFusion Workshop brings together experimental and theoretical scientists for an intensive interdisciplinary exchange. This unique event fosters collaborations and advances our understanding of complex chemical phenomena. The 2026 Edition, ChemFusion for Health, will focus on crossing experiment and theory, from active matter to health.

Participants will explore:
Fundamental principles: Theoretical and experimental foundations of active matter, light-driven processes and molecular recognition, including self-propulsion, collective dynamics, light–matter interactions and biomolecular sensing.
Cutting-edge research: Engage in discussions on the latest advances in microrobotics, photoactivatable nanomaterials for therapy, and molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases.
Collaborative projects: Develop novel research ideas through interdisciplinary collaborations between chemists, physicists, biologists, and theoreticians.

Posters by PhD students and young researchers will be on display during the coffee breaks, followed by a dedicated poster session. Poster prizes are sponsored by the SCF Section Lorraine.
