Abstract: Transient absorption (TA) is a versatile spectroscopic tool to be utilized in exploring excited state charge dynamics in various systems. In my presentation, I will discuss various examples of using TA to uncover unconventional excited state processes in both organic and inorganic materials, along with various TA setups to tune the sensitivity of TA towards material surfaces.
