Nouveau Junior Professeur

Bienvenue au Dr Ibrahim Abdellah qui nous a rejoints sur une Chaire de Junior Professor en Chimie Organométallique le 1er Janvier 2024.

Pr. Ibrahim Abdellah completed his PhD in 2010 at the University of Paul Sabatier Toulouse under the supervision of Prof. R. Chauvin and Dr. Y. Canac. Following that, he pursued postdoctoral research, first with Prof. AC. Gaumont at ENSCIAEN (Caen, France) in 2011, and then with Prof. M. Alcarazo at the Max Planck Institute for Coal Research (Mülheim an der Rhur, Germany) in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he held the position of temporary Assistant Professor at ENSCAEN (Caen, France). With a keen interest in industrial applications, he subsequently joined the University of Paris Saclay (ICMMO, Orsay, France)) and the University of Rennes 1 (ISCR, Rennes, France). At ICMMO, he worked with Dr. V. Huc and Dr. E. Schulz, and at ISCR, he collaborated with Prof. C. Darcel. Additionally, he spent a year working on nanoparticle radiolysis synthesis in the groupe of Prof. I. Lampre and Dr. H. Remita at the Institute of Chemical Physics at the University of Paris Saclay (Orsay, France). Pr. Abdellah transitioned to the role of Senior Scientist at a startup by the end of 2020. Since January 2024, he has been serving as a Junior Professor group leader at the University of Lorraine (Metz, France).
