Séminaire de Sébastien Ulrich
17 novembre 2023 @ 14 h 00 - 16 h 00
Le 17 Novembre 2023, Salle Jean Barriol
Dr Sébastien Ulrich, DR-CNRS, Institut des Biomolécules Max Mousseron (UMR5247), Université de Montpellier, donnera une conférence intitulée « Towards smart materials & delivery devices using dynamic covalent chemistry »
Abstract
Dynamic covalent chemistry combines the stability of covalent structures with the constitutional dynamics of supramolecular systems. Therefore, dynamic covalent chemistry enables access to complex chemical systems displaying lifelike behaviors such as self-assembly, adaptation, responsiveness, selection, and self-replication. In this talk, I will show our efforts and present our recent achievements in implementing dynamic covalent chemistry for 1) producing smart vectors of nucleic acids,[1-3] and 2) assembling functional materials from molecular building blocks through hierarchical processes.[4]
